Mesa/Boogie Throttle Box distortion pedal in excellent condition. Hand-built in Petaluma, California, this is Mesa’s high-gain rock/metal distortion that delivers aggressive cut while retaining the organic warmth the brand is known for.
Key features:
• Level, Gain, Mid Cut, and Tone controls
• Lo / Hi gain switch
• True bypass
• Internal EQ-Boost switch for additional voicing options
• Runs on 9V battery or standard 9V DC center-negative power
• Compact, rugged enclosure
The Mid Cut control lets you scoop the mids for that classic Boogie “V” curve, while the Lo/Hi switch covers everything from classic rock crunch to modern high-gain meltdown. Excellent for pushing amps or as a standalone distortion.
Condition: Excellent. Fully functional, all knobs, switches, and the footswitch work perfectly. Cosmetics are very clean.
