Based in the mountainous countryside of Minokamo, Gifu Prefecture, Leaf Instruments is a solo-luthier brand founded by master craftsman Yukihiko Nagasaka. Every element—from wood selection and construction methods to structural voicing—is meticulously scrutinized in pursuit of pure, resonant acoustic tone.

Drawing on extensive knowledge and refined skills honed through violin making and acoustic guitar craft, each piece is 100% handcrafted to evolve and deepen in tone over years of playing.

This model adapts the signature silhouette of the "Teriha" series into a tenor scale.

Featuring a body that is slightly more compact than a standard tenor, it delivers astonishing volume and rich, layered resonance despite its comfortable proportions. The builder's acoustic guitar-making expertise shines through in its long sustain, pristine note separation, and lush harmonic depth.

This individual instrument is strung with a standard High-G setup.

The headstock faceplate and rosette are crafted from exquisite burl wood dyed in vivid black and red hues, resembling a natural work of art. The rosette is further adorned with genuine silver leaf inlay, imparting a radiant, distinctive presence.

It offers a deep, sweet, and articulate voicing that responds dynamically to every nuance of your touch.
