Vintage Korean-made Samick SM-20E Artist Series Edition electro-acoustic mandolin from the 1990s.
A lovely and relatively unusual 8-string Samick mandolin in tobacco/red sunburst, fitted from the factory with an electric pickup and onboard Volume and Tone controls, so it can be played acoustically or plugged into an amplifier.
Made in Korea and featuring an A-style body with traditional F-holes, tortoiseshell-style pickguard, chrome hardware and bound body/headstock.
The mandolin is in good vintage condition with various scratches, marks and general signs of use consistent with its age. There is some cosmetic wear/tarnishing to the tuning hardware, all of which is shown clearly in the photographs.
