Epiphone Les Paul Standard 2003 - Cherry Sunburst

Here's an Epiphone Les Paul Standard made in the Korean Saein plant in 2003. The top is finished in what might be described as aged cherry, and it looks great with or without the pickguard, as you will see from the photos. It is in very good condition, with just a couple of tiny dings on the edges. Overall it's quite clean and shiny. The rosewood fretboard with pearloid inlays is clean and fresh, and has been rubbed with bore oil before a new set of Ernie Ball 10-46 strings were installed. The strap buttons have been upgraded to tough nylon units that grip the strap securely. No other changes have been made. At 9.2 pounds it won't strain your back, but it has enough heft to feel like a proper LP Standard. No need to change the pickups, as these alnico humbuckers sound great (the alnico V HOTCH bridge pickup is especially good, IMHO.) It comes with the original Epiphone hardshell case in very good condition (there are a few scuffs and scars on the outside, but the interior is totally clean, with no rips, odors, or other typical case issues.)
