Roland W-30 Sampling Music Workstation / 12-bit Sampler – Fully Working
Vintage Roland W-30 sampling workstation from the late 1980s, made in Japan.
This example is fully working and tested, including the display, keyboard and disk drive. Importantly, it comes with its original Roland W-30 System Disk (SYS-W30-6 Version 1.00), which has been tested with the keyboard and loads correctly.
Also supplied with the mains power lead, so it is ready to use.
The W-30 combines a 61-key keyboard with Roland's classic 12-bit sampling engine, a 16-track sequencer, 16-voice polyphony and multiple individual outputs. It is part of Roland's S-series sampling family and has that distinctive late-'80s/early-'90s Roland sampler character. The W-30 was introduced in 1989 and was originally a serious professional workstation rather than a home keyboard. amsynths.co.uk
