Beautiful vintage Takamine PTS-015 acoustic-electric archtop, made in Japan in 1979. The serial number is 79091588, dating the guitar to September 1979.

The PTS-015 is an unusual and relatively hard-to-find Takamine design featuring its distinctive archtop-style body, oval soundhole, cutaway, tailpiece and onboard electronics.

I have owned this guitar for years and it has been well cared for. It was professionally serviced by The Guitar Doctor in Costa Mesa, California. It plays well and the electronics are functional.

Condition is exceptionally clean for a guitar from 1979. There are very few nicks or marks, and the finish, body, neck and hardware present extremely well for its age. It has been played and is not represented as mint, but it has clearly been well cared for.
