1954–55 Gibson GA-7 Les Paul TV amp in working condition for sale.
This model appears to be the rarest model in Gibson’s 1950s Les Paul amp lineup. It was only produced for a few years, with 469 units made. The tube configuration is the same as GA-5 Les Paul Jr amp OR the Champ and Princeton from the same era, but the GA-7 features a 10-inch speaker.
This piece was re-tolexed, the control panel was sanded off, and the handle was replaced around 1960. The original owner was a DIYer who pursued a more original-looking appearance, which happened to the matching Les Paul TV Jr. that came with the amp too. The heavily modified TV Jr. had the matching-tolex hard case pictured (not included).
This amp has been serviced minimally by local tech and works as it should.
