I purchased this Gibson Les Paul Special off the wall at Sweetwater. It's in excellent condition. The only thing that separates it from "mint" is that just below the bridge there are some very fine scratches in the lacquer. They don't go through the lacquer, and they're too fine for me to photograph. Just in the interest of fully disclosing, you know? There is no fret wear. I upgraded the bridge to a Mojo Axe bridge. The stock bridge may look vintage, but it will not intonate completely, and I like to be in tune. I suppose the stock bridge would work better with a wound G string, but who does that? If you look closely, you can see how the Mojo Axe bridge allows proper intonation, but it does it in a subtle way so the guitar still looks stock. When I upgraded the bridge I also upgraded the bridge studs. I could look up and see what the bridge upgrades cost me, but it would make me cry. All the original parts are included in case you want the guitar to play like crap. The original Gibson case is included and is in Excellent to Mint condition, free of scuffs, tears, or blemishes.
