For sale is my beautiful 2017 Gibson Memphis ES-335 in classic Cherry, in excellent condition.

This guitar has spent its life in my smoke-free home studio, has never been gigged, and has been kept in its original Gibson hardshell case when not being played. It has been carefully cared for, as the photographs show.

$838 Sheptone Heartbreaker Pickup Upgrade

One of the highlights of this ES-335 is the upgrade to a set of premium Sheptone Heartbreaker humbuckers.

Sheptone currently lists the nickel-covered Heartbreaker set at $838. These boutique PAF-style pickups are designed around classic late-'50s/PAF construction and Jimmy Page-inspired tones. They use Alnico 5 magnets, 42-AWG plain-enamel wire, vintage German nickel-silver baseplates, and vintage-style braided leads. Typical resistance is approximately 7.35K for the neck and 8.35K for the bridge.

Sheptone Heartbreaker pickup specifications

The Sheptones are installed in the guitar and provide a very articulate, dynamic vintage-style humbucker sound that is an excellent match for the semi-hollow ES-335 design.

Guitar

This is the classic Gibson ES-335 semi-hollow design, with a double-cutaway body, center block, bound body and neck, rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, dual humbuckers, Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, Grover tuners, a four-control layout, and a three-way pickup selector.

The guitar's Cherry gloss finish is particularly striking and shows beautifully against the cream binding, black pickguard, and nickel hardware.

Condition: Excellent

The guitar has been carefully maintained in a smoke-free home studio, has never been gigged, and has been stored in its original hardshell case.
