Fender Jaguar 1963-1964 - Candy Apple Red

This is a 1963-64 Fender Jaguar body and parts. From the body markings it was factory refinished in Candy Apple Red. The factory finish can be seen in the vibrato and neck pickup routs. It was subsequently refinished again in Candy Apple Red. It's an amateur job, but it's thin and should be easy to remove for a proper refinish. Alternatively, it doesn't look too bad as is. The paint under the pickguard is thicker, and I think the original paint was left there and covered by the last refinish. The original flat pole pickups read well on my multimeter, (see pics). The pots are coded 1963, and with the flat pole pickups I think indicate this is a 1963 or 64 at the latest. Included are the following; Body, pickguard, vibrato, control plate with volume and tone pots and knobs, rhythm circuit parts, pickup switches, brass shielding plates, under pickguard shielding plate, 11 pickguard screws, 4 pickup mounting screws. You'll need a bridge with posts, mute assembly, plates for the switches, and a neck and neck plate for a complete guitar. All parts look to be original to the body, but you be the judge. Only parts pictured are included. The body without parts weighs a light 4 pounds, 1.8 ounces. If you have a vintage neck and the missing parts, you have the makings of a very nice vintage Jaguar!
