Up for sale is a stunning Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Reissue ES-335, crafted in the Nashville facility In 1997. This guitar perfectly captures the peak of Golden Era semi-hollow design, dressed in a gorgeous, classic Tobacco Sunburst finish. A true custom shop gem from Gibson’s “good wood” era of the mid/late 90’s.
The neck is beautifully straight, offering low, fast action with effortless playability across the fretboard. The neck profile is a full, vintage-correct C-shape that slightly flattens out along the back with prominent shoulders, giving it a very comfortable soft-D feel in the hand. Sonically, it is loaded with highly sought-after early-era Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers that deliver an incredible, warm, and articulate vintage PAF tone.
The guitar is in all-original condition and has been exceptionally well cared for.
- Frets: Mild wear with plenty of life left.
- Body: Clean overall with only light surface scratches and one very minor, small ding on the top. No buckle rash.
