Pair of McIntosh ML-10C speakers in Good condition
Great sounding, fully working pair with real cosmetic wear as listed below.
Three way sealed box McIntosh from the 70s, built in Binghamton alongside the amps. Ten inch woofer, soft dome midrange, and a cone tweeter with a coaxial radiator, 89 dB efficient so they play loud on modest power. Real walnut veneer and the vertical slat grilles that make these unmistakable. Designed to pair with the MQ101 or MQ102 equalizer but they sound full without one. Serials BH5781 and BH6092.
Condition: Overall we rated this as Good. Veneer chip at the top corner of one cabinet with the substrate showing, as seen in photos. Scratches and gouges across the walnut on multiple faces, including several long deep ones on one side panel. Finish worn through along the bottom edges and corners of both cabinets. Grille frame corners show wear with one small chip. Dust in both rear terminal recesses and sticker residue near one terminal. All grille slats present and straight on both. Binding posts clean with no corrosion. Both McIntosh badges present and intact.
Test Results: Fully tested and working. Both cabinets play cleanly across the full range with the woofer, midrange, and tweeter producing sound in each, no rubbing, buzzing, or rattles at volume. Both sound consistent with each other. Binding posts are tight.
