For sale is a beautiful 2021 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s in the iconic Goldtop finish. This model delivers the construction, feel and powerful humbucker tone associated with the classic late-1950s Les Paul design.

Built in Nashville, the Standard ’50s features a solid mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck with a rounded ’50s profile, bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 24.75” scale length. Vintage-style appointments include an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuners and gold Top Hat control knobs.

Factory specifications include BurstBucker 1 and BurstBucker 2 humbuckers with Alnico II magnets, individual volume and tone controls, hand-wired electronics and Orange Drop capacitors. The result is everything you want from a traditional Les Paul: a warm, woody neck sound, a strong and articulate bridge position, and plenty of sustain.

This example currently has black pickup rings, a black pickguard and black switch washer installed, giving the Goldtop a distinctive appearance. The pictured cream pickguard, cream pickup rings, cream switch washer and mounting hardware are also included, allowing the guitar to be returned to its more traditional appearance if desired.

The guitar is in very good overall condition and presents beautifully. It shows light cosmetic wear from normal use, including fine surface scratches, small marks and light wear on the back and headstock face. No major damage is visible in the supplied photos.
