70’s Hondo II Professional Longhorn Tokai Copperburst w/ Case

Excellent playing and sounding late 70’s Hondo Longhorn made by Tokai at the Matsumoku factory, before production switched to Samick in Korea. I’ve owned both and I’ll say based on the examples I’ve had the Japanese made guitars are a little lighter but practically identical. I know the later Korean-made guitars had the sunrise logo and gold truss rod cover. Anyway this guitar is awesome. Frets are in great shape. Neck is comfortable up and down. I don’t know if the pickup is an actual dimarzio or a clone but it sounds great. Really nails 70’s rock tone, great for rhythm and lead, especially with the built it boost/overdrive. I’ve heard the circuit is the same as the old Ibanez tube screamer, I can’t verify that but it does sound killer. Very fun to play, I have a hard time putting it down. Comes with original case.
