The MJS1-ADZ-RD/R has arrived, featuring a striking combination of a Black Oil finish and Red Anodized pickguard!

The texture of the Black Oil finish looks especially impressive on the large offset-shaped body.

Unlike a conventional solid black finish, the natural grain of the body wood remains visible beneath the oil finish. Depending on the angle and lighting, both the appearance of the grain and the sheen of the finish change, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural character of the wood despite its predominantly black appearance.

Another unique appeal of an oil finish is the way its sheen and color gradually evolve as the guitar is played, developing a character that reflects the way its owner uses the instrument.

The glossy black hardware also serves as an excellent accent on this model.

While the Black Oil finish retains the organic texture of the wood, glossy black is used for the metal components such as the tuning machines and bridge. By combining different textures within the same black color scheme, the overall appearance avoids becoming too dark or flat, giving the guitar a more dimensional look.

Boldly paired with this is the Red Anodized pickguard.

Black and red is already an aggressive combination, but unlike a simple red pickguard, the anodized finish adds a distinctive metallic texture.

Taking full advantage of the large pickguard area of the offset body, the red makes a strong visual statement. At the same time, the contrast between the visible wood grain of the Black Oil finish, the glossy black hardware, and the metallic anodized surface gives the guitar a premium feel despite its bold appearance.

A matching headstock is also featured.

Black Oil × Red Anodized × Black Hardware.

The slightly unconventional silhouette of the JM-style body works exceptionally well with this aggressive color combination.

The wood configuration combines a responsive alder body with a maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. It delivers a crisp, immediate attack while the rosewood fingerboard adds a cohesive character to the midrange.

One of the greatest attractions of the MJS is its unmistakable offset-style sound: crisp, edgy, and gritty.

Even when playing chords, the definition of each string remains clear, allowing you to fully enjoy its sharp articulation with clean and crunch tones. At the same time, the sound does not become excessively blurred when using heavier distortion, making it particularly enjoyable with fuzz for creating raw, aggressive overtones.

From alternative, grunge, and shoegaze to cutting-focused rhythmic playing, this model offers a wide range of possibilities while retaining the distinctive character of an offset-style guitar.

The neck is based around a comfortable C shape and paired with a relatively flat fingerboard radius for modern playability. While the appearance retains the classic atmosphere of a JM-style instrument, the actual playing feel is refined with the comfortable, user-friendly approach characteristic of momose.

Black Oil with visible wood grain, glossy black hardware, and a large Red Anodized pickguard.

This combination would already make a strong impression on a TL-style guitar, but on a JM-style instrument, the visual impact is even greater.

A little rebellious, a little mysterious.

This limited-edition model lets you enjoy a bold black-and-red aesthetic that feels perfectly at home on an offset guitar.
