This limited edition of Ariel Posen's signature Broadcast-AP is finished in dark green with a red marbled nameplate, limited to 200 units worldwide.

At its heart is the same circuitry as the Broadcast: a class-A discrete, transformer-coupled design that saturates in a way reminiscent of certain recording and broadcast consoles. Starting from the low-gain side of the standard Broadcast, Ariel and Hudson exchanged the germanium transistor for silicon and used an OEP transformer, which saturates and distorts less below 100 Hz than the Triad used in the standard version. Together these give the AP a darker, smoother, more powerful tone - greater weight in the lows while keeping the open highs and upper mids.

The control layout carries LEVEL and GAIN TRIM potentiometers and a switchable high-pass / low-cut filter at 100 Hz, 6 dB/oct. GAIN TRIM offers 12 dB more gain than the low-gain side of the standard Broadcast, covering clean boost through to medium-gain overdrive. An internal trimmer pushes the gain further still, into overloaded, broken and fuzzy territory.
