2003 Fender Blues Jr combo amp. Gently used over the years non-professionally. Great for small venues and recording. General health and well being of the amp is very good.

• Since these are "fixed bias" they generally run hot, so this one comes with a Cooling Fan
• The 'fix' on the hot running fixed bias is a Fromel Electronics Bias Kit

Fender moved the production of the Blues Junior amplifier from the United States to Mexico in 2001 and featured the updated circuit design with a cream-colored circuit board. The aftermarket modification community—pioneered heavily by the late Bill Machrone (known widely as the legendary "BillM" mods)—developed standard fixes to address these quirks and elevate the amp into boutique-level performance. The most common modifications for a 2003 Blues Jr include: the Bias Kit above, tube switch-outs (already done), install Orange Drop Capacitors, and a speaker switch-out with either an Eminence Cannabis Rex (tames 'ice-pick highs and smooths overdrive), or Celestion Greenback / Vintage 30. (for more punchy, British-voiced mids). The amp IS good now. But can be easily made better. the speakers are easy to change, but the Caps and Bias Kit needs a TECH's touch. When done, the fixes elevate the amp into boutique-level performance amplifier. The Cooling Fan works GREAT.
