History & Origin:

This speaker was originally removed from a 2019 Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue by the previous owner, who sold it fully functional right here on Reverb. I recently bought it to load into my Mesa Boogie Fillmore 50. It arrived exactly as described—in perfect functional and cosmetic condition. However, after a few hours of A/B testing, I realized I personally prefer the fuller, wider frequency profile of my amp's stock Mesa M90 speaker for my specific music style.

Tone & Condition:

Since it came from a Fender combo, it is beautifully broken-in and completely healthy. The Heritage G12-65 is famous for its tight, controlled low end, warm/detailed midrange, and a clear, sweet top end. It is the perfect choice for taming overly aggressive highs on a bright amp, or adding incredible British-voiced vocal midrange punch to a 1x12 cab or combo. The paper cone is perfectly intact with no tears, the magnet structure is clean, and the solder terminals are solid.
