Taiga combines the immediacy of a traditional analog synthesizer with the flexibility and experimental potential of a modular system. Its internally connected signal path lets you begin creating sounds without using a single patch cable, while the extensive patchbay opens the instrument up for deeper routing, modulation, and integration with other Eurorack equipment.

At the center of Taiga are three rich analog oscillators, each with Pittsburgh Modular’s distinctive waveshaping and wavefolding circuitry. These feed a smooth multimode analog filter and the expressive Dynamics Controller, which can move between traditional VCA behavior and organic low-pass-gate textures. The result is an instrument capable of everything from powerful basses and animated leads to metallic percussion, complex drones, evolving sequences, and warm experimental textures.

Taiga also includes an analog bucket-brigade delay, dual ADSR envelopes, an analog LFO, noise and sample-and-hold sources, a preamp with soft-clipping overdrive, MIDI-to-CV conversion, and a built-in 32-step sequencer/arpeggiator.
