Fender American Standard Stratocaster 2016 - Olympic White

Up for sale is a Fender American Standard Stratocaster 2016, with Lace Sensor pickups, and Fender Locking Tuners. It comes with a Musicians Friend Strat/Tele Hardshell Case.

Since the guitar was born in 2016, the trem bar (included) has never been inserted into the trem bridge. It’s currently “decked” with 5 springs. You can leave it like that, or have it float, with less springs. The neck is fine; there are no twists or warps, and the truss rod works fine.

There are no major scratches or dings to show. The action is low: .006 relief and the 6th fret low E, with the string height at 1/16th” at the 17th fret on each string. You can see the case candy that comes with the guitar. You get the Allen wrench for the neck/truss rod adjustment, and a smaller one for the bridge saddles. The frets show little wear, with no major divots.

The Lace Sensor pickups are fantastic and aren’t as critical in terms of getting them too close to the strings. Set ‘em where you want (what sounds good to you.) It has Schaller straplock strap buttons and it comes with a Fender strap with the locking part, already on them.

I’ve been playing guitar since 1968; working on them since 1980 and buying and selling them (online) since 2005. This guitar doesn’t come a smoke free household, however, when not being played, the guitar resides in its case, in a smoke-free room. The entire guitar and the exterior of the case have been cleaned with Naphtha.
