Larrivee OM-60 2003 - natural

I am the original owner of this guitar. I bought it at Atlanta Music Brokers back when I was in college. At the time, it was a huge purchase for me. I had gone to every guitar store in the southeast, playing probably ten dozen different guitars. I never intended to buy a Larry. When I played this one, I could not believe what I heard. It was hands down the best I had played. The same store had several Taylors over $3000. I remember being so surprised that it sounded better than those Taylors. 22 year old me was shocked. I bought it immediately.

It's been babied over the years. I have bought and sold many acoustics that did not measure up to this one. It usually lives in the case. Over the past 5-6 years, I have found myself playing less and less. In my 20's, I would play this guitar at least twice a week. Once I got into my 30's I started playing a little less, and guitar became a once a week sort of thing, and then once a month. That's just how it goes. I still play, but I realized while playing this guitar recently that it's a shame to keep this thing in the case for 28 days a month. It's just not right. I know that sounds silly, but I do not want to become one of those 50 year old people who takes their grail out once a month when someone comes over for dinner. This thing needs a new life with someone who is going to play it. It's not a vintage Martin. It's a real hand made piece of workman's guitar.

Frets are still in pretty good shape. It probably does need a good truss adjustment, and I feel it's probably better to do one after the new owner has the wood settle on them.
