1970 Yamaha FG-150 Red Label, made in Japan by Nippon Gakki.
This guitar is not perfect. It has dings, scratches and normal wear from being played from 1970 until today. I tried to take pictures of all the marks, but some of them are hard to get to show up on camera because of the shine on the finish.
It has just been set up with a fresh set of strings. The action on the low E is right around 2.0 mm at the 12th fret and it plays good with no buzzing.
Neck feels good, action is low and it sounds really good. These old Yamaha Red Labels have a great vintage sound.
The guitar is over 50 years old, so please don’t expect a perfect guitar. The scratches and dings are there, but nothing that bothers the way it plays.
