Incredible, room-filling vintage sound. This is a complete matched ecosystem that has been meticulously inspected and preemptively serviced for another 40 years of flawless performance.

Speakers (Functionally 10/10, Visually 8/10):

USA-built cabinets. Thoroughly bench-tested, swept with a low-to-high sine wave generator to verify zero distortion, and vetted through a multi-day musical audition spanning many hours. All 18 drivers are in perfect original shape. Please note: Series VI features Bose HVC drivers utilizing advanced synthetic surrounds that do not rot or disintegrate like earlier series—these never require re-foaming. The original walnut veneer finish is in good overall condition, showing a few minor cosmetic chips at the corners (documented in close-up photos).

Series VI Active Equalizer (Functionally 10/10, Visually 8/10):

Essential for the 901's sound signature. For preemptive maintenance, the internal circuit board has been meticulously restored and upgraded with premium, high-quality Nichicon electrolytic and Wima film capacitors. It runs completely quiet with a flawless noise floor. Visually, there is minor aging/staining on the gold anodized faceplate and black case as pictured.

Grilles (Visually 9.5/10):

Original knit cloth grilles are tight and clean. There is one tiny wear-through spot at the bottom center of one rear grille (shown clearly in the close-up photo).

Tulip Stands (Visually 9/10):

Genuine OEM Bose factory stands in classic black finish. Sturdy and rigid, showing only minor light scuffs and surface scratches from normal use.

Includes a custom pair of 8-foot, 14-gauge OFC copper speaker wires. Terminated with gold-plated blade terminals on the speaker end and gold-plated banana plugs on the amplifier end for plug-and-play installation.
