Sound Formula Crystal Crash from 1999 — the final year of production before the Sound Formula series was absorbed into the Signature line. After 1999, the Crystal Crash lived on as a Signature model; this is the Sound Formula predecessor, built on the same B15 Sound Alloy but carrying the earlier series identity. If you want a Crystal Crash with Signature-grade alloy and construction but the Sound Formula label, this is it.
The Crystal Crash is distinguished by its flattened bell, which produces an unusually glassy, high-pitched crash with fast decay. Think splash behavior in a crash form factor — makes its presence known and gets out of the way quickly.
At 732g this falls right in the documented weight range for this model (cymbal.wiki records 722–740g). Just a bit heavier than a Signature Full Crash 710-720g. Short production window, not many around.
