Martin DM Road Series acoustic guitar with original Martin hardshell case.

I acquired this guitar from an independent instrument retailer around 2015. It has been a reliable player throughout my ownership, but as I added other guitars to my collection, this one gradually saw less playing time. I'm selling it as a straightforward player's guitar for someone who will put it back to regular use.

Condition & Repair Disclosure

Before I acquired the guitar, it experienced a heel separation that was repaired by a previous owner or repair shop. I do not have documentation regarding who performed the repair or exactly when it was completed.

The repair is visible as a glue line at the heel, which can be seen in the photos. There are no cracks or finish disturbances around the repaired area. During approximately 10 years of my ownership, the repair has remained stable with no movement or recurrence. I have experienced no buzzing, tuning instability, or other playability issues associated with it.

Aside from the repaired heel, the guitar is in very good overall condition for its age. There is a small approximately 3 mm ding on the top, which is also pictured. I do not see any other significant cosmetic or structural issues. There is no notable fret wear, buzzing, or dead spots.

The action is comfortable for my playing preferences and the guitar plays well as it currently sits. As with any used acoustic, a new owner may prefer to have it set up to suit their individual playing style and action preferences. The strings are approximately 1–2 years old, so a fresh set would also be worthwhile.

No pickups or electronics are installed, and I am not aware of any modifications or other repairs.

Original Martin Hardshell Case Included

The guitar will be sold and shipped in the Martin hardshell case that came with it. The case has moderate cosmetic wear from travel and use, including scratches around the corners, but remains a solid and functional case for protecting the instrument.

This is an honest older Martin player's guitar with a disclosed and long-stable heel repair. I've tried to describe its condition as accurately as possible and photograph the repair and cosmetic ding clearly so the next owner knows exactly what they're getting.
