Unlike the earlier, more budget-oriented Fresher models with bolt-on necks, the 3rd generation, around 1978–79, moved to more refined construction at Chushin Gakki, with several set-neck models and higher-grade Japanese components.
The 3rd generation Fresher belongs to the period when Chushin Gakki, a long-established Japanese OEM manufacturer, was also producing some Burny/Fernandes models; during the 1980s, it would later become one of the Japanese manufacturers involved in Charvel and Jackson production.
According to the catalog, specifications included:
- mahogany set neck
- rosewood fingerboard
- mahogany body with maple top
- catalog weight: approx. 4.2 kg
- Goto hardware and PAF-style pickups
It shows some cosmetic wear consistent with a 50-year-old guitar, but the frets and truss rod are in excellent condition and the neck is straight.
The guitar has been fully inspected and serviced by a specialized guitar workshop.
