Gorgeous and incredibly rare 2004 vintage Richard C. Allen (R.C. Allen) California Classic. These were his Bigsby repros. Incredible resonance from the chambered body with a lovely bird's eye maple, featuring Allen's home made pickups which emulate Paul Bigsby's originals and TK Smith CAR’s. The guitar has the oversized Bisgby style headstock which Leo Fender emulated and popularized with the Stratocaster, Jazzmaster and Jaguar. This guitar plays and sounds amazing. Such a distinctive sound as these aluminum housed pickups are truly one of a kind. This thing is an absolute vibe machine that you won’t want to put down, every single element hand constructed. These are getting very difficult to find and will only continue to appreciate in value.
