Fender Contemporary Stratocaster – Made in Japan 1986 – Olympic White – Original Hard Case
Up for sale is an all-original 1986 Fender Contemporary Stratocaster, made in Japan during the E-serial era, finished in Olympic White and supplied with its original hard-shell case and tremolo arm.
The Contemporary series (approx. 1985–1987) was made by Fender Japan (Fujigen) in the period when US production was being restructured. It combined the classic Strat body and feel with modern features of the time such as a locking tremolo and locking nut. Today these MIJ Contemporary models are appreciated for their build quality and playability.
