Fano SP-6 made during the PBG (Premier Builders Guild) years from 2010-2015
This one is a total One-Off that I custom ordered and spec-ed out to look like a classic ‘57 Corvette.
Art Esparza, former Fender USA Custom Shop Master Builder, who worked with Gene Baker during his time at Fender, did the bulk of the work on this once it came off the CNC machine, including adding binding front and back, installing the frets and assembling and setting this guitar up to play like it should. Zero fret wear!!! Not a scratch, ding or dent!!! Essentially a brand new guitar still after 12 years, and comes from a smoke free-no pets home, so the case won’t smell like an ash tray or kitty litter box🫢
It features a one piece swamp ash body, light and resonant, fitted with a one piece mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard with no fret markers on the fretboard (top dots only). 4 layer white and black binding on front edge and single white binding on back edge of body.
Lollar Imperial humbucker with coil tap on volume knob, and Seymour Duncan P-90 neck pickup
String through body bridge with Gene Baker designed and made string grommet.
