I have a 2024 Fender American Professional II Stratocaster here. This one comes with an upgraded Fender case, the brown Tolex one with the plush yellow interior usually seen on the American Vintage Reissue series. Very nice. I do not have all the Fender coa with it though i assure you it is genuine. I have an unopened Fender paperwork pack with it.
Conditionally, this guitar is in VG condition with some light playwear that I will describe for you.
The body top shows some average guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard. And there is a scattering of similar superficial swirling here and there. But no built up sheen or any formed clusters of soft swirling, just traces of it here and there that pretty much any used guitar has.
The body sides/edges have about a handful of small scuff marks that are about 1 to 2 mm in size. Not dings or chips, just little scuffs in the outer finish. There's a little bit of surface swirling here and there again, but no accumulated all over sheen of any of that. There are no neck pocket cracks.
The body back shows four little micro marks that are a millimeter or less in size, about as small as a pencil tip. Not very deep, just little outermost finish marks. There is some faint surface scuffing around those marks, but there is no buckle rash or worming. Nor is there an accumulation or buildup of low intensity pattern playwear. Any surface signs of use will be fairly minimal back here. Overall, it looks nice.
The neck looks excellent throughout, with nothing to report there. The neck shaft contour and the headstock look excellent, with no marks or playwear. The frets are tall and full, showing no fretwear. The setup plays fantastic. It is perfectly dialed in. The original electronics are working like they should. And the beautiful hard shell case is in excellent condition as well.
This guitar rates an 8.75/10 and grades as very good. I would say still on the better side of very good because this is a 2024 model, so it definitely still has that lustrous, glowing look that recently made guitars have. The neck is excellent. The body shows some minor surface marks as noted, but overall has a crisp, attractive appearance. It is structurally and sonically sound and plays great.
The American Professional Pro II is not much of a departure from the American Pro or it's the Predecessor the American Standard. Your getting a high end American Strat with the most popular features .
Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged On Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.
I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
Thank you for reading and considering!
