The Ibanez SM7 Smash Box Tone-Lok is a powerful high-gain distortion pedal from Ibanez’s distinctive Tone-Lok series, built for thick riffs, aggressive rhythm tones, and saturated lead sounds.
With controls for Drive, Level, and a flexible 3-band EQ, the SM7 gives you plenty of room to shape your distortion — from tight and punchy to heavy, scooped, and full-bodied. The additional Edge switch lets you further adjust the character and attack of the sound, making it particularly well suited to rock, punk, grunge, and heavier styles.
Like other pedals in the Ibanez Tone-Lok series, the control knobs can be pushed down into the enclosure once you’ve found your settings, preventing them from being accidentally changed.
