Zildjian A Thin Crash, 17". Cast B20 bronze, made in the USA. Weight: 1296g.
The A Thin Crash is Zildjian's fast, bright, papery crash - it opens almost instantly, spreads wide and warm, then gets out of the way rather than lingering. Being a true Thin rather than a Medium Thin, it responds beautifully to a light touch and works at quiet volumes as well as loud ones. A long-standing studio and stage favourite as an accent voice.
Original ink intact on both sides - the A THIN CRASH 17"/43CM model ink and the Avedis Zildjian Co. trademark stamp on the playing side, and the Zildjian logo on the underside.
CONDITION - EXCELLENT
- Structurally perfect: no cracks, no keyholing, no edge dings. The center hole is round and the edge is clean the whole way around.
- Logos, model ink and trademark stamp all intact and legible.
- Honest playing dirt, patina and stick marks across both faces. Played rather than babied, and never polished or refinished - the factory finish is exactly as it left Zildjian.
- The weight (1296g) is handwritten in marker on the underside near the bell, as shown in the photos. Cosmetic only.
- No structural or tonal defects.
