Vintage Kenwood KR-5400 Solid State AM/FM Stereo Receiver in very good overall condition for its age.
The receiver has been tested and is working well. The tuner, audio output, controls, switches, and main functions were checked during testing.
The original dial illumination has been upgraded with new LED lights, giving the tuner display a bright, clean blue appearance. The signal meter illumination is also working, as shown in the photos.
The KR-5400 features multiple speaker outputs, two phono inputs, AUX input, dual tape monitor connections, bass and treble controls, selectable stereo/mix/reverse modes, FM muting, low/high filters, loudness control, and 4-channel connections.
Cosmetic Condition
Overall, the receiver is in very good cosmetic condition for its age.
The brushed aluminum faceplate presents very nicely. The wood side panels are also in good overall condition, with some normal scratches, edge wear, and small marks consistent with age and previous use. The top metal cover has some light cosmetic wear.
Please carefully inspect all photos before purchasing, as they are an important part of the description and show the exact condition of the unit.
Important Vintage Electronics Note
This is vintage electronic equipment. It was tested and working properly at the time of listing; however, due to its age, no guarantee is made that every specification remains exactly within original factory tolerances. Future cleaning, adjustment, or service may eventually be required.
