Gemeinhardt 2SP student C flute. Closed-hole (plateau) keys, offset G, C-foot. Silver-plated. Serial R48947.

Stamped Gemeinhardt / ELKHART, IN. Mid-2010s production. Student 2SPs from this serial range were typically assembled in China; headjoints from this era were often still made in Elkhart.

Includes the original Gemeinhardt hard case.

What it is

Standard school-band 2SP — the workhorse student model teachers have recommended for decades. Closed holes, offset G, C foot. Not open-hole, not B-foot.

Condition

Good used. Visible tarnish and plating wear, especially around the headjoint tenon (some brass showing). Case has normal scuffs. See photos.

I have not had this professionally serviced. Pads and playability are untested by a tech — sold as pictured. Buyer should plan on a checkup/regulation if they want it band-ready.
