Martin Special D Classic Mahogany Dreadnought – Made in USA – LR Baggs – Original Hardshell Case
American-made Martin Special D Classic Mahogany Dreadnought, built in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
This guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, giving it the classic Martin dreadnought sound: strong projection, clear highs and mids, a punchy low end, excellent sustain, and great dynamic response.
The Special D uses a dovetail neck joint, allowing excellent resonance and tone transfer between the neck and body. It is a versatile guitar that works beautifully for strumming, flatpicking, fingerstyle, recording, and live performance.
This guitar is also equipped with an LR Baggs pickup/microphone system. A new battery has just been installed, and both the pickup and microphone are working correctly.
The guitar plays very well with good, comfortable action, and the frets are in good condition. Electronics have been tested and everything is functioning properly.
Includes the original Martin hardshell case, which is also in very good condition.
