Vintage Ludwig marching snare drum, made by Ludwig Drum Co. in Monroe, North Carolina, USA. This is a substantial marching-style snare featuring a white shell, chrome hardware, extended snare system, and a shoulder carrying strap.

The Ludwig badge is present and shows Serial Number 3178727. The drum has clearly seen use and shows cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including scratches, scuffs, finish wear, oxidation/tarnishing on portions of the hardware, and wear around the badge.

Condition

This drum is in used good condition for its age with noticeable cosmetic wear throughout. There are scratches, scuffs, marks, finish wear, and age-related wear to the metal hardware. The top drumhead is heavily worn from previous use. The Ludwig badge also shows scratches and finish wear.

Please note that there are some additional holes and mounting hardware on the shell, likely from previous marching hardware or accessories.
