Rickenbacker 4001 - 1981 Serial - Fireglo Bass Guitar. Great shape w/ Original Case

Dated June of 1981, UF1964 serial.
This was getting close to the end of the 4001 production as Rickenbacker had started to transition to the 4003 just a couple of years earlier.
All original except the strap buttons.
Great shape! No cracks (the photo on the back of the neck is a scratch in the paint, not a crack.
Just some dings and marks that you would normally find on a 45 year old bass.
Plays great, neck is straight. Truss rods work as they should. Frets have normal wear and plenty of life left in them.
1981 and 1982 produced some of the final 4001 basses while the 4003 had taken over during the transition. The late model 4001 production line are considered the better of the 4001 series.
Includes the Original Hardshell Case. The case has some of the felt/foam coming off near the inside where the tail of the body sits. Overall in nice shape. Handle and latches work as they should.
