The SG 200 (often branded under SG Systems) is a rare, hybrid/all-tube guitar power amplifier produced in the 1970s by SG Systems—a subsidiary formed by Gibson (Norlin) and Standel. Designed primarily to drive passive speaker cabinets or pair with external preamps/effects units, it delivers high headroom and classic American-voiced tube power. Vintage SG 200 power amplifier was manufactured by Gibson guitar company / C.M.I. Electronics. It has a black faceplate with a single volume control knob or power level indicator. It is housed in a rugged silver and black flight case with metal corner protectors and carrying handles.

AIl the information needed to service is found online; including the schematic and the step by step process to restore to OEM spec.
Testing was limited to a short time. SG 200 did amplifies a signal when it was tested / connected to a source and load.
its my understanding that this SG-200 requires service by a technician before normal operation. Visual inspected of the chassis was done all components are in the circuits, none showed signs of fatigue but a thorough reevaluation is required after it’s long retirement.
