Eventide Anthology XII is the company's complete plug-in collection: thirty two plug-ins drawn from more than fifty years of Eventide studio hardware, plus their current and newest processors. Eventide put the value at over $4,200 if the plug-ins were bought separately, and sell the bundle at $999.

Eventide effectively invented the digital harmonizer, and the classic emulations in here are the reason the name is familiar: the H910 and H949 Harmonizers, the H3000 Factory and H3000 Band Delays, the Omnipressor, Instant Phaser Mk II and Instant Flanger Mk II, and the SP2016 Reverb.

The modern side is just as strong. SplitEQ and Physion Mk II are built on Eventide's patented Transient and Tonal splitting technology, which separates the attack of a sound from its body so you can treat them independently. That is genuinely different from a normal EQ or multiband compressor.

Reverbs run from the enormous Blackhole to ShimmerVerb, MangledVerb, Spring, UltraReverb with its nine algorithms, and Tverb, which recreates the three-microphone setup Tony Visconti used on David Bowie's Heroes, with movable mics.

Pitch and modulation cover Crystals, MicroPitch, Octavox and Quadravox for diatonic pitch shifting in eight and four voices, TriceraChorus, Rotary Mod and Undulator. UltraTap handles rhythmic multi-tap delay, CrushStation brings distortion, and UltraChannel, EChannel, EQ45 and EQ65 cover channel strip and filter duties.
