------------------------------
Founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug, Taylor Guitars has grown rapidly since the 2000s thanks to its innovative ideas, high technical skill, and sophisticated marketing, and is now one of the world's top acoustic guitar brands. Taylor enjoys overwhelming popularity, particularly in the US, where it is used by professional musicians, as well as domestically. This particular instrument is the "714ce" from the new "Next Generation" series. It features a cedar top, Indian rosewood sides and back, neo-tropical mahogany neck, and a cremated ebony fingerboard and bridge. It boasts a wide treble range characteristic of rosewood models. With its warm cedar tone and excellent volume, it's a pleasure to play even with light strumming. The "Next Generation" features an evolved "scalloped V-Class bracing" system, maintaining the excellent pitch and balance while improving the powerful and rich sound. It also incorporates the "Action Control Neck," which makes neck adjustments easy. The long tenon neck joint, which is stronger and allows for easier and more precise fine-tuning of the neck angle than before, improves the resonance of the entire body, allowing for ultra-precise adjustments whenever needed. It features the new "Claria pickup system." Combining an under-saddle piezo pickup with a newly developed preamp, it delivers a reliable and easy-to-use amplified tone in any setting. Mid and Tone controls allow for a wider range of sound control. This is a guitar ready to be used immediately on stage.
