About the Schecter Kross Lok

The Kross Lok bridge was one of Schecter's most innovative hardware designs from the late 1970s and 1980s. Unlike traditional Tune-O-Matic bridges that provide limited saddle travel and single-point adjustment, the Kross Lok system was engineered to provide exceptionally precise intonation adjustments.

Each saddle features two adjustment screws, allowing the player to alter not only string length but also saddle angle using a 1/16" Allen wrench. This unique design gave players and technicians a greater range of intonation correction than was possible with standard Gibson-style bridges.

Why Players Love These Bridges

  • Exceptional intonation accuracy
  • Unique dual-adjustment saddle system
  • High-quality vintage Schecter construction
  • Rare and increasingly difficult to find
  • Perfect for restoring vintage Schecter and custom-built guitars
  • Popular upgrade among players seeking greater setup flexibility

As vintage Schecter parts become increasingly scarce, original Kross Lok bridges are becoming harder to locate, especially complete examples that remain fully functional.

Perfect For

  • Vintage Schecter restorations
  • Gibson-style projects
  • Custom guitar builds
  • Collectors of vintage guitar hardware
  • Players seeking maximum intonation adjustment

Why Buy This One?

This is an authentic vintage Kross Lok bridge from the 1980s, not a modern reproduction. Despite normal cosmetic wear and the minor stripped saddle screw hole noted above, it remains a solid, functional example of one of Schecter's most innovative bridge designs.

Please review all photographs carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions.
