Emerson Custom Premier Tele 3-Way 500K Prewired Assembly

New and improved!

Few guitar mods do so much for so little effort as an Emerson Custom wiring assembly. And after two years of development, all Emerson assemblies now feature their exclusive Emerson Premier Pro Pots. Specifically engineered for guitar and bass applications they feature a tight +/-8% tolerance, an extra rugged terminal board, a precise taper optimized for guitars, and slightly larger lugs to make soldering easier. Along with Emerson-spec pots each assembly uses their exclusive made-in-USA Paper-in-Oil capacitor.  These precision hermetically sealed components combine vintage sound and modern manufacturing techniques to maximize your guitar tone. Much like tubes, Paper-in-Oil capacitors are closely identified with "the sound" of vintage guitars and amplifiers. Featuring military-spec tubular construction with sealed glass ends, these components are perfectly sized for guitars, and look so cool they might create a demand for clear pickguards.

You might think you need new pickups: Start with better wiring and find out what your guitar really sounds like with an Emerson wiring assembly.

The Emerson Custom Premier Telecaster 3-Way 500K Prewired Assembly features:

• Ideal for higher output and Humbucker pickpup Tele-type guitars
• Emerson Premier Pro 500K solid shaft pots
• Oak Grigsby 3-Way switch
• Switchcraft Jack and wiring
• New Emerson USA-made .022µf Paper-in Oil Capacitor
• Volume Mod (resistor/cap network eliminates high frequency loss as you turn down)
• 50's style vintage wiring layout (less tone loss as you turn down the volume, and smoother volume roll off)
• Vintage cloth covered wiring
• Meticulous construction
• Instructions

Note: The Volume Mod is a matter of taste, and the vintage wiring schematic also helps to reduce tone loss as the volume is rolled off. On our own Tele guitars our preference is no volume mod and it can be easily clipped out or un-soldered.
