You're not likely to find a cleaner example of an Ovation Magnum I than this one. Beautiful Sunburst finish. Look closely at the photos. The only flaws I can find are a single ding by the lower bout on the front, and a few checking lines in the back as well as a light scratch. You really have to zoom in to see them though. The front pickups on these basses sound massive, but not in the crazy rolled-off, EB-2 kind of way that one might expect. It has plenty of definition and clarity to balance out the bottom end. The back pickup is very bright and midrangey. I usually just use the front one. Comes with the original Brown hardshell case which is in very good shape (not yet pictured - will try to upload soon).

This has a low serial number (B0024X). Not certain about the year of production but I'm guessing either 78 or 79.

It has a great setup. Due to the size of the bridge/tailpiece it's strung with special-ordered Extra Long Scale Labella Deep Talkin' Flatwound Standard Gauge strings (760FS-XL) with a gauge of 45-105. Hate to see this one go but I need to thin the herd.
