You’ve gotta have at least one P90 guitar in your collection, and this would be a great candidate.
If you’re not familiar with SG-RRs - they’re a really nice mix of Gibson-style specs with some convenient Fender touches too.
These models were only made for a short time, with the Junior even rarer - only made in 1990. It’s got a basswood body with a bolt on maple Gibson-scale neck, 14” radius rosewood board and a pair of ceramic P90s. The pickups in this thing are amazing, very thick and raw - perfect for pushing an amp into a driven sound. The string-through hardtail bridge gives the guitar great sustain. It’s got a few scrapes, scratches and dings - there’s some cracks in the finish by the heel but they’re purely cosmetic. It’s been setup nicely by 81 Guitar Works, including new CTS pots, a Switchcraft 3-way and a low action.
