Cosmetically, the guitar is nothing short of outstanding. Aside from a touch of hanger burn around the headstock and a few honest nicks and dings acquired over more than six decades, it presents in near mint condition. The original Cherry finish remains astonishingly vibrant, with a depth and richness that almost makes it look factory fresh. Loaded with a beautifully voiced pair of original and undisturbed PAF humbuckers, it produces the warm, articulate, and harmonically rich voice that has made early ES-335s legendary.
