A Burny by Fernandes Jazz Bass type with the script logo, believed to date from the 1970s (exact year unknown). Alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard: punchy, woody 70s tone with plenty of attack. Priced as a player-grade / project vintage bass — please read the condition notes. CONDITION — graded honestly (Fair) - FRETS: approx. 40% remaining. It plays and intonates fine right now with the current setup, but the next fret job will need to be a REFRET rather than a level-and-crown. Some buyers convert these to fretless — this would be a great candidate. - Finish has sun fading, scratches and play wear consistent with a 50-year-old instrument. - Neck is straight (0.3 mm relief at the 7th fret) and the truss rod works freely in both directions with plenty of range. - Electronics fully tested, no issues.
