The "Two Step" Double Pedal Suitcase Kick Drum / Made by Side Show Drums

The "Two Step" double pedal suitcase kick drum made by Side Show Drums.
This is built around a nice vintage Airflite suitcase which measures approximately 26" wide ,16" tall and 9" deep.

Due to the height of the case, you may need to shorten the shaft on your bass beater.

Four feet have been added to the underside of the case to provide some additional height.
The interior has been re-lined with felt to help protect whatever additional hardware you store inside. 
The exterior of the case shows light signs of wear and tear from a life of use and travel.
Two bass pedal mounts have been attached permanently to the bottom of the case and feature rubber tops to help secure your pedals.

Heavy duty Velcro strips secure the pedal mounts when folded for travel.

One pedal mount is for the kick drum side and the second is for the accessory side of the suitcase.

A 9.5mm percussion rod allows the attachment of a variety of your accessories, such as jam blocks, tambourines or small cowbells. Jam blocks and tambourines work the best.

Two retractable bass drum spurs have been added to the face of the suitcase to provide additional stability. 

A 3" rubber port has been added to the front of the case to allow for the use of a microphone.
All the latches on the case still function but there is no key.

Two small magnets help hold the handle in place while playing.

We have used a very of bass beaters on this and it seems to sound best with a flat faced cajon beater.
