Up for grabs is my incredible 2016 Epiphone Thunderbird Classic-IV Pro in the stunning, highly desirable Alpine White lacquer finish. Made in Indonesia, this isn't your standard entry-level Epiphone Thunderbird. This specific, out-of-production run is famous in the bass community for one massive reason: it was built to historic Gibson specs.

This beast features a true 7-ply Mahogany/Walnut neck-through-body construction and comes loaded from the factory with genuine Gibson USA TB-Plus Humbuckers. It delivers the exact massive, growling low-end and endless sustain that the Thunderbird is famous for, without the hefty Gibson price tag.

Condition: Excellent / Near Mint

This bass has been incredibly well cared for and is in near-mint condition. The Alpine White finish looks brilliant against the black hardware, and the electronics work silently and flawlessly.

• The only flaw: There is one very small, superficial ding on the bottom of the body (see close-up photo). It does not affect the playability or structural integrity in any way, and is completely invisible from the front when playing.
• The frets have virtually zero wear, and the 1960s rounded bass profile neck is dead straight with low, comfortable action.
