Since its release in 1952, Gibson’s Les Paul series has revolutionized the music scene.

In response to the changing times, the series underwent minor updates and introduced new models, earning the support of many users.

The Historic Collection series, which revives legendary instruments of yesteryear,

has gained widespread popularity among guitarists.

Since its debut, the specifications have undergone subtle changes to reflect the times.

This ’58 model is a prime example of that evolution.

From the switch from ’57 Classic pickups to Burstbackers,

to finishes like “Aged” and “VOS” that recreate the texture and patina of vintage guitars—

the list of changes is endless.

Based on the serial number on the back of the headstock and the date noted on the check sheet,

this guitar was manufactured around 2018.

While a plain top is standard on typical ’58 models, this guitar features an impressive

wide frame with depth running from one end of the body to the other. The HandSelect paper tag is still attached.

This series, revived in 2018 as the Historic Collection, retains the best qualities of the original True Historic line.

Featuring a maple and mahogany body glued with animal glue and True Historic parts,

this model pays meticulous attention to even the finest details compared to the original, with particular care given to the burst finish.

Weighing approximately 4.16 kg, this guitar was crafted by a team of artisans who selected only the finest woods,

and it pairs perfectly with the Custom Bucker pickup.

It delivers the classic Les Paul sound you’ve heard on CDs, records, and at live shows.

It allows you to express a wide range of tones, from clean to distortion, exactly as you wish.

This guitar was cherished by its previous owner,

and the pickups and other components remain in their original condition.

There is no noticeable damage, such as large dents,

and the frets and nut retain the same height as when the guitar was new.

The truss rod turns both left and right,

and currently, the neck has no significant warping and is comfortable to play.
