Rare Catalinbread Carbide from a limited run of only 50 pedals featuring the original alternate orange, black, and white artwork.
According to Catalinbread, these were test-print enclosures produced before the company selected the standard gold color scheme. The original artwork directly reflects the pedal’s BOSS HM-2 inspiration, combining orange-and-black coloring with heavy-metal and chainsaw imagery. Even the Carbide name references the tungsten-based material used to coat heavy-duty chainsaw blades.
This example is in mint condition and works exactly as it should. It includes the original Catalinbread box, branded cloth bag, and Catalinbread/Tortex guitar pick.
